This technique was developed to meet the production requirements of different wheel manufacturers. The primary function is to clamp the outer diameter of wheels of the same diameter using a standard three-jaw hydraulic fixture. The full surround clamping method reduces fixture distortion, eliminating the need to consider central positioning dimensions and height, thereby reducing the cost of fixture procurement.
